Implementing collaborative teaching practices in vocational education
Case-study of Tallinn School of Service explores the notion of collaborative teaching through practices of co-teaching, co-planning and reflection in the context of a vocational school in Estonia. The aim of the thesis is to analyze and undesrstand how these new teaching practices and methods influence the pedagogical beliefs and practices of teachers. Empirical reserach was conducted in 2019-2020 and qualitative and quantitative research methods were used.
The main conclusion of the thesis is that new ways of co-operative teaching that were introduced during the research to the teachers in the vocational school positively influenced their approaches to curricular goal-setting as well as improved their abilities to reflect on their actual teaching practices.
